Examining the console of an IBM computer are Mike Jupin, Bill McClure, and Dave Cahill, Math X students, and their instructor, Dr. Glen Vannatta. The computer was a feature of the class ' s field trip to the Indianapolis Allison plant. Pencils, compasses, and slide rules jam the Reading a slide rule is harder than it looks.
