By operating business machines, such as mimeo- graphs and comptometers, we gain practical oflice experience. Opportunities to learn the finest of woodworking and -- precision metal work are found in our well-equipped shops. Neatness, exactness, and a general knowledge of lay- out and design are acquired in mechanical and architectural drawing classes. Typing is important, for it will be useful to us throughout life and in all phases of business. Besides giving us practical training, our art curriculum develops standards of taste and judgment which deepen our appreciation of nature and art. In studying Latin We learn another language and gain an understanding of the ancient Romans and an appreciation of their influence on our Way of life. Learning to play musical instruments is an enjoyable and a constructive use of leisure time, starting some of us toward careers as professional musicians. V
