CO-CAPTAINS Dick Bruce 8. Harold Rhora MOST VALUABLE Larry Patterson BASKETBAL L REVIEW Over thirty candidates reported for basketball to start the season. There were seven returning lettermen: Ken Bortel, Ron Croll, Dick Bruce, Jerry Grady, Larry Patterson, and Harold Rhora, all seniors, and Karl Kimerer, a junior. The Tories started the season with Adrian Reserves at Britton. At the end of the regulation time the score was tied and Adrian won the game by one point in the over- time. This seemed to set a pattern for the rest of the season, as the Tories lost several games by small margins. The Tories had an over-all record of 3 wins, 15 losses with a league record of 1 win, 9 losses . ln the district tournament the Tories won the first game beating Deerfield by one point and then losing to Clinton in the championship game. Larry Patterson was elected most valuable by his teammates. Dick Bruce and Harold Rhora were elected honorary captains for the season.
