SENIIDRS CLASS HISTORY The class of 56 entered high school in the fall of 52 with many new and exciting experiences to look forward to The sophomores initiated us that fall In the spring after the All-School Banquet we were faced with stacks and stacks of dirty dishes During our sophomore year we started making money for that not-too-distant senior trip. We sold pencils and pins, had a pancake supper, and washed cars to fatten our treasury It was not all work that year though, we put on the All-School Banquet and received our class rings The lunior year was upon us before we knew what hit us We could see the senior year drawing closer and we were preparing for it by putting on a chili supper and homecoming dance, our iunior play, Finders Creepers, and the annual iunior prom. last we reached the goal we had been working for during the past three years--our senior year. This was our busiest year. We sold birthday calendars, had football and basketball concessions, a pancake supper, presented our senior play, Robinson Crusoe, received our pictures, produced an annual had a car wash and a steak supper. W selected blue and white as our class colors and a white carnation as our class flower The end of the beginning was chosen as our motto. We left on our trip to Wash ington D. C. on May i9. Upon our return we had our Baccalaureate exercise on May 27, commencement on May 29, and graduation on May 31. S 0? which we did rather reluctantly.
