N.-f The Hancock County Tournament held in Klemme was a very exfiting one Britt and Klemme reached the finals, with Klemne winnin the m b tw S Sl 0 Y o p 1nts g3:9tSft:1:D Brigt girls had a tough time keeping the little Klemme boys ouiet crow w ich w s there then girls were fortunate to Hnd as good as Seats, even though rear such small boys The Secti nal Tournament was held at Forest City thls year Britt's fxrst opponent was Tltonka We were eliminated from this tournament wh n Titonke defeated us by a score of AO 30 The inter class meets were held again this year and, of course, the Seniors won In the first round the Senior beat the Sophmores, and the Juniors beet the Freshmen The Freshman were tzken by the Sophmores and the Juniors were beaten by the Seniors That left the Seniors as champions and the Sophmores coming in second ion of Ur Crockett, Vocational Agriculture Teacher is composed of thirty nine members The two classes involved are Farm Shop and Farm lanagpment The boys are making farm equlpment to be sold to farmers as a means of rsising funds for the club This year, l vls and Thelna were chosen to serve as the nucleus of the Cheer Leaders being x members last year Two new leaders, Lois Galloway and Jalene Smith from the 12 who tried out at the Belmond football game The Hot lunch System has been set up in our school This is quite a help to the farm children who have been bringing their lunches to school The Juniors and Seniors are looking forward to their lay breakfast held on lay 22 in the Home Economics Department The Seniors serve the Juniors at this time Baccalaureate will be lay 18 this year This is the first step leading 'To the finish yet the beginning for the Seniors going out into the world The big night for we Seniors is Commencement which is on May 22 They will receive their diplomas and all will be congratulated Wonder how many wet eyes will be seen that night Ah !Yes Skip Day. This is the day. This year there will be a group of cars going to Ames for Veishee. we are going on Friday, May 16, which is called High School Day.
