Annette Goodfield Mrs Discenzaaaaa' ,..4s4i3 ' -dm! HOME ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT, Left to right: Miss Ruth Whipple, Mrs, Albertina Discenza, Miss Dorothy Vail Home Economies reveals domestic skills. Our girls find the Home Economics Department most useful and practical. Not only do they learn the valuable art of boiling potatoes or pinning a pattern, but they also grasp the technique of managing a home efficiently and economically. Keeping a budget and vacuuming the livingroom become just as important as broiling a steak for dinner. Our able, experienced teachers are the guides in improving a girl's homemaking talents. They enjoy their work and hope to pass on their feelings to the students who take their courses. Learning to cooperate with other people and enjoying the task at hand are probably the most important things a girl learns from her Home Economics courses. This will have to be done over again, says Miss Whipple to Janice Chartier in Homemaking class. I 'V'
