FOREWORD In honor of the retirement of our Superintendent of Schools, it is only fitting that the class of 1955 dedicate this, our Torch, to the untiring efforts of Mr. Karl A. Reiche. Between these covers we have tried to highlight the changes and advances which have been effected in our school system during the last forty years. and to contrast present day school life with that of the first class to receive diplomas from Mr. Reiche.
