PROPHECY Basham and his wife Goldie Soapdish They told us about their 2,000 acre farm and the BLACK k BLUE CHICKENS R HEN'S CLUB Edward was President We had a restful night, Ed ward's ham and eggs speeded us on our way the next morning We were gliding along at a slow 1,000 miles an hour when our pilot, Richard Watson, set us down on another strange place Judy stepped out and all she could see was a small sewing shop So we all went to the shop and sitting inside was the nalways happy' Alice Thompson bending over a sewing machine Alice had scrubbed floors for three years to save up enough to keep her and her husband, and she could even afford a maid and her husband d1dn't have to work at all Before we left, Alice made each one of us an outfit fit for a queen, then once more we were on our merry way We flew over a high school that was lighted so we decid ed to land our space ship and see what was going on As we entered we heard a crowd cheering, a basketball game was go ing on Since Mary always liked basketball, we sat down and noticed that the coach of one of the teams was none other than our great basketball player Mark Sloop He saw us and came over and started talking, he said he had been coaching for about lui years the name of his team was the MORONS We bid him good bye and wished his team good luck little light headed so we decided that the high altitude was too much for her and that we had better land to take her'm a doctor Someone said that a psychologist would be just the thing So we came down on a small town named Chicago We then took her to a psychologist and got the surprise of our lives Who would be the psychologist? None other than that great senior of 1953! KW1th great speed, that is! None other than Norma Rund! She was already working on a patient This wasn't surprising Gene Sheely also one of the seniors of 1953 back at Union was her victim We asked the doctor why Gene was there She said that when he had been down in one of his many submarines the other day he ran into a school of mermaids and the shock was too much for him We flew over the fine Indianapolis State Fair Grounds We decided to land and take a look around the grounds Rich ard Watson spied the sheep barn sc we went in and saw Stan ley Poe talking to a group of boys When he got through talking he came over and began to talk with us He told us he was a MH leader We asked him if he was married yet and he looked very sheepish and said, no, the right girl hadn't come along yet We wished him good luck and said we had to be moving on We said it was about time to cool off our engine so we headed up Alaska way As we were drifting we looked down Charlene made out the name Jerry Haymaker on the roof of the barn of a vast ranch, she insisted that we go down and see if it was the same Jerry we knew When we landed, a short chubby man came to greet us. We recognized him as Jerry. We asked him why he had moved to Alaska and he told us he moved because the wolves were getting his white angus cattle We had not been going very long when Dorothy got a

l,Zj,laf7,S6MTgf On the eve of the year 1973! The junior class of 1953 were wondering what had happened to the seniors of 1953 we decided to board our diamond studded space ship and see Betty first rocketed up to a large estate where we read on the mail box the name Mr and Mrs Oliver Panhandle the Mrs being the former Shirley Utterback We entered the stately mansion to find that Mrs Panhandle was running a ballet school on her side and Oliver had a veterinarian office on the other side They said they were getting along just fine with their seven girls and their seven dogs and cats we were sailing along in our space ship again when Mary yelled 'There goes Bill Myers driving along in the same old car he had when he was at Union, only he 1sn't driving quite so fast But we followed him into town and he stopped in front of a big garage with a sign that read Myers k Sons we asked him how long he had been in the business and he told us about five years We wished him good business and As we were zooming along we saw a place we didn't know existed As we cut the power of the rockets and landed, Judy spied a large read aloud to us a We knocked on the appeared After a house for eligible mansion on a hilltop Over the door she sign which said WOLLA'S BACHELOR HAVEN ' door and none other than Olla Mae Brown long talk we found that she ranaboarding bachelors Olla was not yet married, but informed us the great day would come as soon as she picked one of the bachelors at her boarding house We next landed at Atlanta, Georgia, where as you all know, they hold the Miss America contest We were not at all surprised when Carolyn informed us that Marilyn Still abower was one of the candidates Marilyn scared us almost to death when she slipped as she came out, and slid all the way down the platform She won by a landslide She told us she was undecided about her male friends, but she said there was a 30 round boxing match being fought that night and that we might be interested since one of the 1953 seniors, Philip Porter, was expected to win. We stayed over and went to the arena which was packed with about 15 000 000 people we noticed they were all cheering for Porter, since he was a newcomer to the heavy weight division Kby the way he's gained some weighty we were really down in heart when Philip was knocked down in the first 29 rounds, but in the last round he made every one of the 15,000,000 people stand up in surprise as he knocked out his opponent an won the fight Betty landed our ship at s large farm owned by Edward I' . PROPHECY so he came to Alaska where they could not see them We did n't see them, either! We stayed for the night and the next morning we told him that we must blast off in our space ship While we were so close to another person at the North Pole we decided to head up there and have a look around found Shirley Fletcher, as Dorothy had expected Sh0 WHS running a broken ankle foundation for reindeer She said she was very pleased with her work and she got to see Santa Claus all year around, and she even patched Rudolph last year We were very glad she was so happy We arrived in California in about 13 minutes and as we were flying over Los Angeles we saw a chain of gas stations with John Belden's name on each one Glen said we needed some gas so we stopped to fill up, and John said he was do ing a thriving business and would fill up our tank free with his special which was chloraphyl gas to keep the engine clean We thanked him and went toward Hollywood We flew over an exquisite theater We landed at the back and went in to see a movie We weren't surprised when we saw that Hollywood had caught up with Harold Board at last He was starring in the movie, 'Roosters will Crow' It was a wonderful performance and Don was the lucky one to get his autograph after the show As we were zooming along much to our surprise, we saw a sign that said Mabry's Popcorn Company so we thought we would get out and say hello James said he got his start from the popcorn machine he used at Union School He said, started on his second million Shirley was so thrilled at such an unusual a business, that she wanted to stay As we swooshed along we saw a large television station so we thought that we would stop and watch awhile While there a style show went on the air and out came Lois Utter back modeling a bathing suit She said she was planning to go to Hollywood to make pictures as soon as Warner Brothers and Columbia stopped fighting over her we wished her much success and left After our visit with Lois we headed towards Texas be cause we had heard of a Daniel Oil Company that had spread all over Texas We thought it might belong to the same Dud ley Daniel who had gone to Union It was Dudley! He was doing very well in his business and had just given an en gagement ring to Dagmar Our last stop was a very pleasant ending for our won derful journey We landed in Florida at a large flower farm where Richard Morris noticed Eugenia Mabry, from a mile away, fyou all know his eyes are so keenj as owner of this large place She was married and had a daughter Before we left she gave each one of us yellow carnations tied with gold and while ribbons We were very tired by now Such a long trip by rocket shin was exhausting our resources money to you but we were very pleased that each senior had achieved great success . We much to his surprise, he was a great success, and he had
