cu' On September 6th of 1951 srxty jubxlant teen agers who composed the Freshman Class set foot on Aggle S011 for the fust txme The school butldrngs and therr surroundmgs presented a very pretty plcture as the burldxngs set on top of a shght h11l and slopmg down from them are lush green pastures acres of well culuvated row crops and a large orchard that ylelded a plen txful supply of JUICY red apples of many var1et1es Looktng back on that frrst year we real1ze today what an rmportant event ll was when we entered th1s school and what a worthy vocatxon agr1culture really ts Durmg our past four years at Aggxe many events took place whlch w1ll be long remembered Among the happy ones were the constructton of the new dalry bam wh1ch stands 1n our mlnds as an tdeal tn modern and san1tary dauy farmmg Another great event was the buildmg of the new shop whrch rn my estrmatxon IS one of the greatest projects ever undertaken by teen age students under the superv1s1on of professronal help Thrs stands as a lasung trlbute to thls Class of 54 for tt was started rn our Sophomore year and rs now IH use duung our Semor year Many other pleasant events occurred dunng our four years here whrch unfortunately are too numerous to mentxon but there were many dances and proms-and numerous basketball games that we w1ll always remember I beheve that the Future Farmers of Amerlca played an rmportant part rn our Aggre l1fe It fumlshed an orgarnzauon to sponsor dlfferent events durtng the year Among them Aggre Nlght IS the most lmportant It IS a banquet wrth entertaxnment and furrushes the students w1th an opportumty to present Ihell' parents to the faculty and to HCQUBIDI them wlth the school It IS the bel1ef of th1s graduaung class whrch has dwrndled to nlneteen pupils dunng the past four years that there IS no other vocatron more worthy of the efforts of hfe than agr1culture and we belxeve that there IS no other school avallable U1 thrs part of the country whtch can better prepare a young man for a 11fe of farmmg than Brrstol Aggle However after spendmg four years 1n thts school we well realize what It takes I0 make 2 successful Aggle student and It IS thrs F1I'St A profound deslre to adopt the vocation of farmmg Second A wrllmgness to learn and remember what one has learned Last but not least A belief tn and a desrre to uphold the trad1t1on whtch you have acqulred 1n takmg up farmtng Arthur Stutz Q.
