Even though their record was 11-18, the year was full of accomplishments. Andy Mueller placed in the top 5 individual players at both the Peoria County Tournament (180 points in 5 games) and the Bushneli Prarie City Tournament (150 points in 4 games). This year Brimfield held its first tournament. Sixteen Central Illinois schools participated in the round robin tournament. ■ ‘TfttitA' 7e u t On March 12, Mr. Stufflebeam and the Math Team went to ICC for the ICTM Math Contest. It was a very successful day for Brimfield. They received fourth place, competing with 10 other schools. The Junior-Senior 8 person team won third place along with the Seniors on the precalculus written exam. Brian Johnson and Andy Mueller won first place in the 2 person, Junior-Senior competition. The DAR Award is based on four criteria: leadership, patriotism, dependability, and service. Andy has fully met these requirements. He is third in his class, President of National Honor Society, and has played many major roles in the school plays and musicals. Andy also actively participates on the Math and Scholastic Bowl Teams.
