No school can properly function without the skills and services of its good cooks and excellent custodians Brimfield is fortunate in its personnel in these positions. Walt Whitson (6) and Leland Morse (10) and Henry Groeper (not pictured) have been kept more than busy cleaning up after us all. Mrs. Mary Boord (not pictured ) has been their back-up.” In the kitchen, head cook Mary Knowles (8), with the aid of her handy helpers Connie Marsh (9) and Carol Paul (7) create good and nutritious lunches for more than 300 students every day. Aren't you glad you don’t have to do the dishes9 We owe them more than just a thank-you, don’t forget to tell them1

BUS SERVICE FOR 45 YEARS Brimfield schools started out with one bus (running two routes each morning and evening) in 1935. Today we have nine regular buses, kindergarten and special education buses. This year’s Chieftain staff thought it was about time we recognized those indispensible people who get us to and from school come rain, sunshine or snow. Thanks to these faithful folks! Without them, how would we ever get to all those ball games and special events? Our current drivers include Anita Silman (1), Willard Clark, Janet Russell (5), Carl McCoy (2), Sharon Rozene (4), four teachers (3) Bill Cinnamon, Charlie Sauerwein, Earl Foster, and Ken Jessen. Not pictured are Shirley Cinnamon, Arlene Hasty, Ramona Heinz, Zelma Jones, Norma Koehl, Roger Smith, and Louise Siegel Bus fleet owner Willard Hassel-bacher, his son Kevin, and Barbara Smith serve as substitute drivers when they're needed 16
