FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENTS This year Brimfield had the pleasure of meeting two more delightful foreign exchange students, Riitta Ala-vuotunki from Savitaipale, Finland (2), and Miriam de Silva from Brasilia, Brazil (1). Attending BHS for the whole school year, Riitta participated in a variety of activities: Girls Junior Varsity alternate (basketball). National Honor Society, Homecoming queen attendant, and she achieved grades that earned her honorary salutatorian class standing. Her hosts were the Jim Wyman family. Mirrian who resided with the Waldo Hughart family, came to us at semester. Her interests are in music. She enjoys playing the piano, dancing; and like most Americans, she likes listening to records. We hope they have enjoyed their stay as much as we have enjoyed having them.

The most important part of Brimf ield High School is the people, not |ust the participants in special activities, but the people involved in everyday situations. These are the times of our high school years we will remember the most; sitting in class and in the study hall, and those unforgettable PE classes. u
