Treasurer Driving Important in Sophomore Year Entering Brimfield High School was an enrollment of forty-nine on August 28, 1967, the ( lass of '71 made quite an impression on the faculty and other students. Tliey were the largest class Brimfield has ever had, and tliey comprised approximately 1 3 or Brimfield's total enrollment. Out of this large class the officers were John Celling, President; Chuck McDonough, Vice-President; Jeanne hlunton, Secretary; and Linda west, Treasurer. ['his year the Sophomore ' enrollment dropped to forty-five. However, this is still the largest class in tlie high school. Driver's education plays a big role in the life of a Sophomore. This class of '71 has spent much of their time in tlie driver's education classroom and car. Experiences have been seen and felt by all, especially Mr. Sauerwein. 20 EDSON SMITH SONS, INC. Their first day consisted of a maze of halls and room numbers which bewildered even the wisest. Freshmen have their own special way of coping with the first year of high school which only those who have been freshmen comprehend. However, this illustrious group of scholars has become exceptionally well-versed in the ways of Brimfield High School. All members of the Class of ' 72 worked during this active year that woula put them on the road to their senior trip. 24 FACULTY GERALD ATKINSON General Business WILLIAM CINNAMON Agriculture I-IV, Shop; F.F.A., Junior Class Sponsor.
