GOOD CITIZENSHIP Each year the faculty of Brimfield High School selects an outstanding senior boy to receive the Good Citizenship Award. This year Keith Rieker, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Rieker of Brimfield, was chosen. One of Keith's outstanding areas has been Vocational Agriculture. Keith has taken all four years of agriculture and has been an active member of the F.F.A. During his junior year, Keith served as secretary and president as a senior. In addition, he served as treasurer of this area of the state F.F.A. organization, Section Five. Besides his work in F.F.A., Keith has been active in other activities. A trombone player in the band for three year, Keith has also been in the last two junior plays. As busy as these have kept him, Keith has managed to help edit this yearbook. In the community, Keith is a member of the Lutheran Church and is president of its Walther League. Keith's plans for the future include the University of Illinois and a major in agriculture. His scholastic average and test scores made him semi-finalist for the Illinois State Scholarship. With his cheerful disposition, leadership qualities, and dependability, Keith is deserving of this award. 21
