LINDA GRAY Lynn I don't care how you spell my name, I'll change it someday just the same. In August of 1959, we first walked up the steps to Brimfield High School. It is not difficult to remember that day. Most of us were scared stiff, excited about the new change, and proud to be called a freshman. It took us awhile to become used to our schedules and to get our schoolwork finished on time, but we soon 1 earned that no one was going to stand behind us, pushing us until we got our work done. It was up to us now. We worked hard that year on our work projects hoping to earn an appreciable amount of money. We joined in many of the extracurricular activities, and we elected Karen Goetze and James Catton as our candidates for the Valentine Ball. 14
