F. FP 1955-56 has been a big year for the Brimfield FFA Chapter. At the state Convention in Springfield in June, T. Best was elected Section IV Vice President and R. Higgs Section Reporter. In August the officers attended the Section Officers Training School at Henry. The highlight of the year was the trip by 19 Junior and Senior boys and Mr. Cox, advisor to Chicago on November Z7-29. Other social events were the FFA-FHA Wiener roast, FFA-FHA spring potluck, exchange party with Glasford, stag chilli supper, and sock dance. Section Foundation awards won by members wereg Beef-B. Nelson, Poultry-L.Dungan, Grain-J. Johnson,Star State Farmer-R. Higgs, State Farmer-R. Heinz and J. Johnson.
