----3-71 9g gS P Ag R X JUNIOR CLASS President--David Wentworth Vice President--Ruth Wolfe Sec. Treas.--Hazel Mullikin The junior class has been a large and very active one from the time it entered high school in the fall of 19375 and its members have taken part in every high school activity. Three members of our class received their letters in both football and basketball this yearg and Robert Gier earned a third in track. In music seven of our girls were in the contest glee club, and five of our boys in the boys' glee club. Nine were members of our senior band, and several of the smaller musical groups. Two of the declamatory winners were Juniors, and three of seven student council members were of our class. Four members have earned the coveted scholarship letters. Ray Leppert, a junior, was one of the two students to win the NIH rating in the state music contest at Fairfieldg Ray won with his piano solo. With still another year to go, we expect to leave a group of records in athletics, music, declamatory, and scholarship that will not be duplicated for years to come. STUDENT COUNCIL Mildred Horner--Chairman Eloise Johnston Ruth Wolfe Roger Stannard Robert Gier Pat Coffman David Day Our student council is a group of our high school pupils elec- ted to represent our student body as a whole. Each class elects one member and the others are elected from the school at large. Nomin- ation blanks are provided for the pupils use. If a student gets twenty signatures he then becomes a candidate. This council has proved to be a great help in promoting a better high school and presenting student opinions and problems to the faculty for consid- eration.
