Superintendent We have enjoyed observing you as you have pro- gressed through the school system during the past twelve years. At the turn of the decade, it was almost poss- ible to detect a nationwide sigh of relief. The sac- rifices, heartaches, and burdensome problems of the forties were behind us. We learned a great deal from the Korean incident. You have had an opportunity to study during the comparative tranquillity in the fif- ties. No one can say what the future will bring but we hope Brighton High has helped you in such a way that you can successfully meet the challenges of the sixties. This will be an important decade for you. May you all have a happy and prosperous future

Principal It is my earnest hope that your past four years at Brighton have been both happy and successful ones for you. If they have, you can look forward to the future with confidence in the knowledge that in these years you have greatly increased your emotional and mental matur- ity and have the academic background necessary for your future work, whether it be on the job or in schools of higher learning. I hope that you will always remember your days at Brighton High with the fondness and affection that we all feel toward you. Yours has been an excellent class, both academically and in terms of your contributions to the devolopment and progress of our school» We hope that in the time to come you will retain your contact with the school and come back to see us often.
