MUSIC DEPARTMENT Brighton's music department. under the direction of Dr. Austin Truitt, has an extensive program of both curricular and extracurricular activities. Junior high students take a required general music course. If they so desire. they may play in the junior band or orchestra and sing in the choir. Senior high students have many chances to express themselves musically in the band. the orchestra and the many singing groups.
