Brighton's two-year-old chapter of a national honorary mathematics society inducted several new members this year. To join Mu Alpha Theta, a student must have an 85 over-all average and a 92 average in mathematics. Sophomores and juniors may then take a special test in February or March, and those who pass are assigned a mathe- matical topic upon which to write. If this is successfully completed, sophomores become associate members, and, when juniors, become full members.
