Mem- bers of each Chemistry Club have pursued their scientific interests under the leadership of Harold Kruger and Robert Moore through a varied program, includ- ing trips, student demonstrations, and a speaker from Eastman Kodak. 24 I r 1

Next year it is planned to offer advanced placement courses in Biology, Chem- istry, and Physics if the registration for them warrants. These courses will be designed to be the equivalent of a first year college course in each of these areas, said Richard Savage, Science Department head at BHS. Many juniors, contem- plating Advanced Biology, took Chemistry this year, swelling classes to almost twice normal size and requiring the addition of Robert Moore to the department. The annual Science Fair was held again this year, and top winners were sent on to the Science Congress at Brockport. Eleven licensed members continued the operation of school amateur radio station KQKHB this year. KQKHB is located in room 306, and here the club also teaches radio skills in preparation for Federal Communications Commission licenses.
