The boys on the Sophomore team, most of who were in the ninth grade, played wonderful games against other Soph teams in this region who were usually much older in years and experience. 4 I Top: The basketball team has thoroughly enjoyed the friendship and cooperation which Claire and Dave have given them through the athletic season. Center: A fast game With Lehi. Stirl Broadhead leaps high in the air to make a beautiful block. Bottom: Another hectic game was fought with Lincoln this year. Over 30 fouls were called on op- posing teams. lt was a fast game from the start. After Don Broad- head and Bob Halberslaben were called out on fouls, Lincoln was leading with 9 points and just a few minutes to play. The Wildcats forged ahead to gain 8 more points. The Tigers were stalling the ball with seconds to go as Chuck Craven stole the ball and dribbled down for a beautiful set' up, but missed. Vern Whatcott followed up and put in the win- ning point.
