STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT “The first and best victory is to conquer self.” Plato This has been the year of the moon. Man has taken the great step into outer space - a dream of centuries has been realized. Man has conquered his earth-bound environment. On the Briercrest campus it is God that has conquered! Through the power of God many students have taken that great step and overcome the “gravity” of being earth-bound. The conquering of outer space has been small when it is compared to the conquering of the inner dimensions on campus this year. Through the faithful presentation of the Word in the classroom, the Christian fellowship in the dormitory, and the service opportunities in Christian Service, this year has been a challenge - a challenge met. “In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Rom. 8:37. CLASS REPRESENTATIVES Kaylene Benson, Grade XII; Donna Bryant, Grades IX and X; Dong Newstaeter, 2nd year Bible; Merrill Jesperson, 3rd year Bible; Keith Wyton, 1st year Bible; Mary Jane Moran, Grade XI. 87

BRIERCREST FALL CONFERENCE Evangelist Ken Campbell One of the highlights of our school year is the Annual Fall Conference, this year being held October 23-26. We received great blessings as we listened to the ministry of the Campbell-Reese Team, Rev. George Brooks and Dr. Francis Steele. Many missionaries shared with us their burden for the field. Not only did we have a chance to listen - there was ample opportunity to browse around the missions exhibits to see for ourselves the need in our world. The challenge was presented - “We do have a Story to tell to the Nations. Let’s GET INVOLVED for there is SO LITTLE TIME.” Soloist Jim Reese Missionary Candidates Lorraine Bob Waters.
