PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Graduation is drawing near and you will soon be receiving the diplomas which you have successfully earned. As you, the Class of 1969, join the ranks of alumni of Bridgton High School, may the friendships you have enjoyed, the concepts you have learned, and the experiences you have realized contribute to your future success and happiness. Your generation, like all others before you, is confronted with many anxieties, frustrations, and problems. Fortunately, you also face num- erous changes, improvements, challenges, and opportunities. It is my sincere wish that each of you continue to develop the qualities and characteristics of understanding, respect, patience, and tolerance which will be valuable in providing for your personal happiness and satis- faction and which will contribute to an enjoyable relationship with others. The Class of 1969 is the last class to be graduated from Bridgton High School, which has served the youth of this area for nearly a century. As we look to the future at Lake Region High School, may the excellent characteristics exemplified by B.H.S. students for these many years continue to prevail in this new educational facility. DEDICATION Ours is the last class ever to graduate from Bridgton High School. For this reason, the dedication of our CORONA was not a simple matter, but a task which re- quired much deliberation and thought. We wished to make our dedication unique, and to someone truly de- serving of such an honor. We therefore chose a teacher who has taught, influenced and aided, a friend who has welcomed and guided, and most of all. a leader who has shown us the way through four difficult years of growing up. As we face the future, we look back over those years and, with great pride and pleasure, dedicate the 1969 CORONA to the Bridgton High School faculty. 4
