Horhis untiring effort in keeping Bridgton High School neat and attractive in appearance and for his friendly help to all the students, we wish to thank him. We are happy to have this opportunity to show our 3 appreciation. Principalâs Message The generation to which your class belongs faces unique and complex problems that were unknown or unsuspected a number of years ago. You are a pioneer group that will indeed reach out beyond the horizons and pattern a new world. It is essential, therefore, to recognize and understand what makes the core of civilized existence, and also to realize that there is as much to lose as there is to win. If you can be world- centered rather than self-centered; if you have both self-respect and respect for others; if you can control your emotions, exer- cise tolerance, and adhere to proper manners in individual re- lationships, you will be helping to win a better world for all. Here, then, is opportunity for a great class, now leaving Bridgton High School, to enter the mainstream of society with a firm dedication to apply these principles of life. We give you our congratulations for your record of accomplishments and our best wishes for the future. Clifford P. Boysâ Varsity Basketball The Varsity team, under our new coach, Stuart Jackson, had a rather slow start, losing many of our games the first part of the season. However, the team worked into a better working unit during mid-season and came up with enough wins to place second in the league and to make the season's record 9-7. In tournament play, we lost the opener to Norway, but won the consolation game with Paris.
