nncipa. The record of events presented in this book by the Class of 1956 is a reminder of the many experiences which a modem secondary school provides for today's teenagers. These experiences, if given in a teach- able situation, are valuable in developing proper attitudes, skills, and personalities. A teachable situation depends upon adequate facilities and equipment, a good teacher that stimulates the mind, and an inter- ested and responsive student. We feel the Corona for 1956 records such a situation. Therefore, congratulations to the Class of '56 for a job well done and for contributing so much to Bridgton High School. The ideals that we hope you have found here will serve you in good stead for whatever the future may bring. As alumni, you have additional duties in life that will carry you away from home. The experiences of today should remind you that only strict observance of what is right and good results in a full and happy life. Good luck to you all. Clifford P. Tinkham Principal
