dedication The reasons are legion that have compelled the members of the Class of ' 60 to dedicate their Alpha to no one other than you, Mr. Balfour S. Tyndall. This year has marked your twenty-fifth at Bridgewater. Through these years you have endeared your- self to Bridgewater ' s sons and daughters because of your marked scholarship, your sterling character, your master teaching, and your subtle good humor. You have enriched your students and, by so doing, have enriched your profession. By your kindly example, you have inspired and helped others to discover those secret glories of the profession that you so obviously have known. With consummate gratitude and sincerity, we dedicate this I960 Alpha to you; however, this nor any other written or spoken word that we may write or utter shall be your reward.
