Their hilarious involvements in order to avoid de- tection are complicated by Al ' s romance with Sue and Anastasia ' s determination to hook the ship ' s steward, Milo Millstone. The boys manage to exonerate themselves by retrieving the diamond necklace which the villainous Vladimir Borscht had stolen fom the wealthy Lady Chumly. For the second consecutive year the Bridgewater soccer team completely out- classed its opposition by capturing the conference titles in both the Southeastern New England Coastal Conference and the New England Teachers College Con- ference. Led by the spirited drive of Captain Bob Haggerty, the booters compiled an impressive record of eleven wins, one loss, and two ties. Next season Coach Swenson faces the problem of replacing such standout performers as Joe O ' Brien, Ed Denton, Jack Andre, Bob Dickie, Stu Olson and Jim Christie. Fitchburg R.I.C.E.
