To intimate friends she is known as a born teacher, a ready worker and sincere friend. Her pet pleasures are hiking, a good meal, and working in a certain Candy Kitchen. The keynote of Madeleine ' s personality is her apparent reserve, which once penetrated reveals a laughing friendliness and love of people.
