Co-captains Carol Mutchler and Cheryl Smith along with the coaching of Miss Chollet led the team to victory after victory. This yearis learn was young with the bulk of it being freshmen and sophomores and only two graduating, Nancy Schiefer and Karen Koes, the outlook for next year is excellent. This year was West's first year for a J.V. gymnastics team and was coached under the watchful eye of Miss Cherego. Stu Campbell was at his best against East when he rolled a 640 set with a 234 game to help West take four games from East. in the Union County Invitational Tournament, Wfzst eame in thirteenth out of 32 teams, including Linden, Union High and Dickinson.
