' 9 G1rls B aske tb all During a building vcaril the girlls Varsity basketball team compiled a record of five wins and eleven losses. Three returnees from last year's teamg senior Debbie Buhl and juniors Regina Alonzo and Cheryl Flynn together with sophomore Amy Weinberg and freshman ,loanne and Diane Worbetz struggled with determination to give West a winning season. Despite this effort, such factors as a lack of total experience and a tough conference schedule made their goal a difficult one to achieve. Prospects for next year look excellent. Several girls are expected to move up from an undefeated J.V. team who accomplished a fourteen win and zero loss record under the coaching of Mr. Art Goldsworthy.
