Boys X-Country Shows Potential Reflecting on the boys cross country season, one sees a promising team which had multiple setbacks because of injuries. Senior Geoff Woods was lost for the season because of ankle and foot injuries, leaving Bob Bartolanzo, captain, the only remaining senior. Dave Connor was also lost for the season due to an ankle injury. Paul Taylor missed half of the season due to knee injury. Coach Charnetski has very many promising underclassmen, including Mark Pennington, Fred Ritorto, Paul Taylor, Mike and Jim Lecher, Bill Curtis, Carl Holst and Nick Havrilak. lf these boys, along with the up and coming J.V.,s, can avoid injuries the 1975 team has the ability to be a very good team if they work hard together. Girls X-Countr Team Lacking seniors, the Girls Cross Country team showed much experience for their young team. Juniors Cheryl Flynn, Ginny Hale, Cheryl Aversa, Donna Cochilla and Debbie Benton along with the underclassmen should have a very promising season next year, and have a chance to improve on their very respectable 5-4-1 record.
