Latin Club Latin Club The purpose of the Latin Club is to help students gain insights, appreciation and an understand- ing of the Roman culture and its contribution to Western Civili- zation in general and the United States in particular. Club activities include a varie- ty of individual and group pro- jects. Membership is offered to anyone who is now or has been a Latin student. Russian Club The Russian Club consists primarily of members who are studying or have studied the Russian language, but it is open to all students. The club meets to plan activities such as bake sales, parties, dinners and field trips. The group would also like to organize service projects such as visiting children in hospitals. At the meetings, the club listens to Russian music and sings Rus- sian songs. We participate in the carnival with a Russian Tea Room and use our singing tal- ents to perform for other classes and to contribute to the activi- ties of the Mardi Gras. Spanish Club . The Spanish Club of East provides its members with an opportunity to learn more about the culture-food, music, and customs of Spanish speaking countries.
