If f , VJ' ' 1 5N'. X Noiff-U Wv rev I Early this fall we BIG seniors decided while we were initiating the 'Freehies' we would have them write an essay on 'Why I Like The Seniore'. We had fine results, but we thought Euclid Sullivan had a very good one. It is as follows: As I set down to compose this great work of the year I am reminded of a story my first grade teacher read to the class about a little boy named George She was trying to teach us to always tell the truth. For eight long years I have made every effort to do this, but now as I venture into a school world fill- ed with doubt and seniors, I fear I might ere slightly, as I tell why I like the Senlor's. However, I have very little to lose as I am writing this on an envelope sslavsged from the wastepeper basket by Clark Cole's desk and with a pencil loaned to me by Johnny Vetterick which he has used for the last three years, lor has he used it??l. I have a special liking for my good friends Max Hurd and Myrna Cass for their thoughfulness of refreshments for the Freshman. As I am a lover of good music I can not help but listen to Phyllis, Helen, Barbara, and Beverly as they keep a steady rhythm of gum chewing while Delmar keeps a steady time for them with the rattle of his Chevy as he comes a- round the bend on two wheels. As for Jack and Dick special mention should be made of them. Their imitation of Frank Sinatra as they make their evenings trip to the school park. The kindness of the Senior class as they offered we miserable Fresh- man gum Tuesday reminds me of two Irishman, Pat and Mike. Pat, the owner of a hen with cholera gave it to Mike. The next day Mike returned it to Pat saying 'I'll be just as good as you are,' and gave it hack to Pat. At the close I will remind you that any resemblance to classes living or dead is purely fictitious and should be regarded as trash and this masterpiece of noneence thrown into the bottom of the wsstepaper basket where it belongs. Euclid.
