CLASS PRGRHECY Q CLASS PROPHECY In 1965, a group of B. H. S. graduated of 1951 gathered together to see what each had done for the past lb years. A picnic lunch was held at the Bridgewater park to climax the day. The day was spent talking of classmates. They found that Delmar Williams had married and lives on a turkey farm in Kentucky. Hia pastime is spent singing hillbilly songs! Those music lessons did come in handy after all dldn't they, Delmar? Dick Brawdy wasn't able to be there as it was time for his program over K. W. A. A. He's their favorite singer on that station in Chicago. Mrs. Brawdy, the former Shirley Fletcher, works at their home in Chicago. Someone has to care for the children. Much to everyones surprise we found that Max Hurd ls yet single but has plenty of women on the string. iSame old Maxi He still lives on a farm just south of town. Jack McDermott and his wife, the former Marlene Knlep, live on that McDermott ranch raising angus cattle. They just welcomed their second se' of twins so both parents were absent. We wonder why? Somehow they got on the subject of teaching and Clark spoke up and said he liked it very much. He teaches high school at Red Oak while his wife teaches Junior high. Of course 'Grandma' Beaman cares for the little Cole baby while the parents are at school. John Vetteriok is in Indianola working in a factory helping Uncle Sam build planes. Everyone was surprised to hear he's not married and says be never will be. We wonder! Beverly Wyllie, now Mrs. Jake Pots, is keeping house for Jake and her 3 little girls, all having red hair. They now live in Iowa City where Jake is employed. Myrna Cass works in Omaha as a typest and filing clerk for Commercial Extension. She's not married yet but had a big 'sparkler' on the third finger of her left hand. Lucky guy!!! Mrs. Bill Harris iBarbara Barnhartl keeps house for B111 on their farm by Anita. I guess they're raising lots of kids. Baby goats that is! At this point a baby started crying. Who should go over and pick him up? None other than Helen Carl, now Mrs. Dick Johnson. They're living on a farm by Richland. Last but not least we come to Phyllis Jean Campen. She's now Mrs. Max Jacobson, having celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary yesterday. They're living on the Jacobson farm north of Fontanelle and have four little boys to make the home complete.
