In 1922 a four room annex was added, at this time Bridge- water was one of the largest and best equipped rural high schools in the state. History Of Bridgewater High School IT’S OLD . . . In 1 870 a four room school was erect¬ ed at Bridgewater and it was the first Nor¬ mal School in Virginia. AND NOW . . . The last annex to the building was made in 1934. The addition consisted of an audi¬ torium-gymnasium, five class rooms, laboratory, and locker room s.
