ACADEMICS The Books! The Books! Not drudgery, but all blown in a new exciting light, Walking, working, talking everywhere about new ideas. But the secret of civilization was ours to ask for: A magic: kneel in the classroom, rise and know all. Fiercely, and not indoors, but everywhere, l l Founder's Hall, named in honor of all the men and women who sacrificed to support the college, houses the Administrative Offices, the language departments, and our connection with the outside world-the Post Gffice. As prospective freshmen we are interviewed here, as students wedtudy English, French, German and Spanish and participant in those labs. Who can forget the long lines during registration or the crowded basement after Chapel with everyone anxious to see if he got a letter, a package, the newspaper or best of all, money? 2l
