The main representative body was the Student Council, JEAN PRATHER and some of the subsidiary groups werefthe Honor' Council, Plffidfnf Uf 5mde1'1f 1300731 the Dining Hall Committee and the Social Life Committee. These groups often worked behind the scenes, and perhaps they didn't always get the publicity and creditidue them. But their student members, elected 'by the students, gave time, thought and effort to the task of working out what was best for the most of us, and their good work was its own reward. , Seated: Skelton, Conner, D. The size of Bridge- water Was part of its secret too. Everybody was somebody- there wasn't any mid- dle group of nobodies on our campus. You could learn to be a good leader in one group and an intell- igent follower in an- other. And some of these groups carried the duties and prest- ige of real social res- ponsibility.
