The portraits of our earl- iest benefactors in the old chapel seemed to smile at all they saw and heard, the ring- ing of the chapel bell for Bridgewater vic- tory, the piano les- sons, voice lessons, band practice, Glee Club, Bee deadlines-- not to mention class- es on the first floor and chemistry lab in the basement.
