This bright face was first seen around the campus about seven years ago. After completing her academy work, she joined the class of '27 and has remained with us all four years. Babe is quiet, sincere and very conscientious, 'has rather a meditative disposition and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She has always been a lover of nature and delights in the study of plants and animals. She has made many friends dur- ing her stay at B. He can be depended upon whether it is the realm of the physical, mental, moral or spiritual. Capt Driver has the honor of being the leader of the first real intercollegiate football team Bridgewater has ever put in the field. His fine spirit and jovial disposition naturally draws people to him. He numbers the whole college, both men and women, among his friends. Sam's greatest interest lies in the fields of football, and chemistry. As Laboratory Assistant in Chemistry he has demonstrated his ability in teaching. He has managed Ripples in a way that makes us sure of his success in any line of business. Patience and perseverance are his characteristics. He graduated from B. A. in 1922, and re- turned ,to B. C. in 1923 and has done his college work well in addition to supervising the home farm. He has been a cooperator and leader in all things for the moral and spiritual tone of the college. He is one of our ecclesiastical representa- tives, being in the ministry four years, and having spent two summers in successful evangelistic work.
