OCCUPATIONAL WORK ADJUSTMENT CLASS The O.W.A. Program teaches students about the world of work. The purpose of O.W.A. is to aid the movement of students toward successfui completion of a vocational or academic school program: to develop welI-adjusted, productive, and responsible citizens, with marketable skills and attitudes. O.W.A. Students participate in the regular school program by attending morning classes. Their afternoons are Spent at job stations. These jobs offer practical experience in such areas as career orientation, job readiness, and money management. O.W.A.
