FLIZABETH FLECK ils- 'Qu 3 HARRY PURSELL JOHN DIEHI. President Vice-President '- Sc'L'fL'l1-IFJ' Treasurer l9lI-8 Class History It was june 8, 1948, and we were walking through the halls of N. H. S. bidding our last farewell, when our thoughts were taken back to those memorable days of September, 1944. When we entered N. H. S. as freshmen, many of us were strangers, but it didn't take long for us to become acquainted with one another and with life as it is in high school. In September we began our two biggest years at N. H. S. As sophomores we presented a skit which was written by our class. ln our junior year we were all showing our class ringsg we received them in November. In March we presented our biggest project, the junior Play, Pig- tails . This play was very successful and really made our treasury look good. Our last year arrives-we are now Seniors . This is a very eventful year for us. We sponsored a Hallowe'en Dance in October. Boy! what a hungry crowdg the hot dogs were gone by ten o'clock. Our class play, entitled The Jinx , was presented in December. This was a busy month for us for we sold Christmas candy. Another dance was sponsored by us in February, yes, you guessed it'-a Valentine Dance. April came around and with it the annual senior trip. Our four days in Washington were well spent. june 8 marked the end of our days at N. H. S. We will always remember our classmates and teachers whom we learned to know so well. Eleven DOROTHY FEUERSTEN
