A pril 19 Qtlass Bnem Tell us not, that we are Seniors, It is surely just a dream, For but yesterday, as Freshmen We were walking with the stream That found its way to high school, With bright faces all agleam. Has the time so quickly passed us? When as Sophomores we knew Everything the teachers taught us. Yes, and many Seniors too Didn't know as much as we did, fOr what We thought we knew.D Have our Junior days slipped by us? When we struggled hard to climb To the mountain tops with Caesar, And across the muddy Rhine. Though our ponies sometimes failed us We at last arrived there fine. Have we reached the goal we're seeking? Are our high school days to end? Was the time and effort worth it? And the joys and pleasures spent. Let us hope that we have earned it. -W. S.
