Justin H. Hess, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, the former principal of Pleasantyille High School, became our principal this past Septem- ber. During his first year with us he has become a living symbol of our high school, cognizant of our problems, interested in our achievements. Carefully adjusting the relationships between staff and stu- dents and the community, he supervises and coordi- nates the affairs of the school. Resolute in his actions and his ideals, sympathetic and friendly at all times, Mr. Hess is a man to whom we look for encouragement and inspiration in every phase of our school experience.
