Their 'd gui ance in our many school activities. curricular and ext.ra-curricular. has helped to iill our wallets with fond memories. In T937 a group of seniors, who. like us. were well aware oi the valuable place of the teachers in school lite, named this yearbook oi Brldgeton High School, The Baconianl' We quote from their annual . . . The name was chosen in honor of Miss Esther Bacon. a former supervisor of English in the city oi Bridge- ton. Mis B ' s acon was highly respected for her cheerful personality and ardent enthusiasm in all school activities. Her contribution to the life of Brld et g on High School was outstanding. She was a teacher and later a supervisor lor nine years. She passed away in l929.
