Lois Hrzaxmin Lo -V' Lois is a very sweet person. with beautiful blonde hair, a lovely complexion, and a contagious smile. As a varsity cheerleader and President of Y-Teens. she has been most valuable. Lois plans to capitalize on her commercial work by becoming a secretary. W1I.l.1.nr Boilsxsx Bill Bill came to us from Roger Bacon at the beginning of his junior year, doubtless drawn by our interesting shop program. Bill's shock of beautiful blond hair enabled Bliss Morgan to spot him promptly when-she wanted him. Ronrznr Cansox Babu Bolfs been one of our cornerstones. always with the Class of '48 since the class started school. This year he was always at the basketball games, taking pictures or keeping score. Bob hopes to swell the ranks of future pharmacists. LOIS CUOLEY 4'Lo Lol' Lois is a versatile person, of varied interests and many talents. As our class artist, she was always in demand for posters and cover designs. yet she had time left over for C..N.:X. and Y-Teen activities and the band! ,l AN ET DAVIS fun The Titans have no more loyal booster than Jan. Besides that she was never too busy to give full support to Y-Teen, GA..-X.. and other organizations. We relied upon her sunny disposition to cheer us up whenever Mr. Nieman's quizzes got us down. EARL DENNEY Omer Earl was a versatile lad. interested in junior shop one year. a chemistry whiz another. and never at a loss to explain away those tardy slips. Life will never be dull for Earl, or anyone in his company. YIVIAN Drxx Vit Yivian's skill in borne economics led to her position on the Sewing Board at Shillito's. This did not keep her from Sr. Y-Teens activities. where she was squad leader. Yiv has a sense of humor that will make her a prize nurse, if she goes to Christ Hospital as she plans. .'kI'liRE'l' E.-vrox I!ussy ln the last two years. llussy has taken an increased interest in sports, winning his letter in four of them. He has been responsible for many of the outbursts of laughter in the commercial department: therefore we have chosen him to col- lect the jokes for this annual. . fi -elf ' ly? 1 'E ' le J- UMW- A-U '- -Q if ,fs u' l LAL, . 4 n A. lx l ' QKUJU. 'B we-Qffxaf THOM ELLIS '4Tz'm', Tim has managed to keep his quiet poise through four years of excitement and distractions. Nothing short of a war dis- cussion in one of Nlr. Nieman's classes could shake him. Junior shop kept him out of mischief. Jonx E1.1.1soN f'Juhnny .lohnny was another addition from Elmwood to our shop forces, and he arrived every day, too. though invariably suffer- ing from freight train or flat tire trouble. While he works at Diehl's grocery in Elmwood, he dreams of a career in advertising. We appreci- ated Eddieg he kept us in good spirits. Puri FRANK GPM Pat usually arrived at St. Bernard High a few seconds after the tardy bell, but it never rullled her composure or her cheerful grin. After hours, we always knew we'd End her sipping cokes at Blilts. HAM N E GARLAND .l'Ia.r This is the other half of the Garland twins, assistant editor of our Annual-received her nickname straight from Nlr. Nieman. whose footsteps fin social studiesl she hopes to follow. For pastime, Maxine loves to sharpen her wits in a good argument. Joux Geuaixo lurk Jack as he is called has proved a valuable addition to the shop ever since he came to St. Bernard from Roger Bacon at the beginning of his junior year. He made an excellent usher for Cap and Gown. PAH. Cizlsex Goof You van't miss Paul for his blond head towers above most of ours. and his laugh is deep and hearty. He's been our triple- threat man in sports. excelling in track, basketball, and foot- ball. Paul should sum-eed in almost anything he tries to do.
