It's the guality of the students in our schools. Everyone cares about the people around the , helping the out and doing the little things... it's the little things that ake the difference. There is enough structure in the curriculum to offer guidance and yet there is enough flexability to allow students to concentrate in areas they like. My goal for next year is to keep striving for excellence in our schools so that our students will continue to be prepared for the Real World. 1) Morris Van Ca pen: Superintendent, Elementary Principal. 2) Betsy Gaylord: High Shod Principal. 3) Ron Kapor, Phyllis Hoskin, Ken Tilstra, Carl Grisso, frank Huller: School Board. Roger Webber and Celcia Poole sang a beautiful song written especially for us. The naae of the song was Holding On . To further our trip down aeaory lane our class put together a slide show of 1986-1987 activities. Early Friday norning the Freshaen went up to paint the 'B1. It would have been a lot easier if the Seniors weren't there! said a Freshaen. The floats were built after lunch was served. Soae of the classes were well organized but others weren't. The ones that were organized had the better floats. At one o'clock the parade started and it was inter- esting to see how soae of the floats turned out. homecoming 86 The girls Basketball gaae was a disappointing loss to Plenty Coups, as was the football gaae against Absarokee. A large turnout proved the idea to be a great success. School orginizat- ions paid the NHS for thir booth space with the aoney going for a scholarship for the BHS student. Although Heidi VanCaapen and Becky Hager, pictured to the left, did not win the costuae contest, they showed all of us the real spirit of the N.H.S. Heet the Candidates 1986 was a big success with 21 out of 25 candidates gathering at the Bridger Elementary School to give their political views to the public. Over 100 people attended the forum. Each candidate was given five minutes to give their speech. The public then had an oppertunity to ask guestions. After all the candidates gave their speeches and guestions were fielded, the Bridger Businesses served coffee and cookies to every- one. This gave the public a chance to meet one on one with the candidates and help them form their final opinions for the November election. Some of the candidates talking after the forum was over.
