All grades showed their singing talent, and the bands froa the 5th through 8th grades played a few christaas selections. Before the night was over the Jr. high choir sang six traditional Christaas songs. At the end of the prograa the whole crowd was involved in a singalong. They sang; Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, and 0 coae. All Ye Faithful. The prograa was a huge success and was enjoyed by everyone. Christmas r

Meet the Candidates The senior P.A.O. class spon- sored the 1984 Heet the Candi- dates . There was much preparation by the class itself. Each person was in a special committee respon- sible for soaething. Connie Fredrickson, Naja Hok, and Brenda Peterson lined up all of the candi- dates. There were 7 candidates and Senator Max Baucus even caae. It was a huge success. Afterwards everyone stayed to talk and have cookies which were donated by the Brjdger Business Association. Candidates appearing were: Mona Nutting Gary Spaeth Bob Rowland Todd Baugh Blair Jones Doris Popplar Max Baucus County Representative County Representative County Commissioner District Judge District Judge Supreme Court Justice Senator Rules: 1. Each candidate will have a 10 minute presentation. 2. There will be 5 minutes for questions from the audience. 3. Candidates do not directly confront each other. 4. Candidates give their point of view in the allotted time. 19

Christmas Party What y' got there Mike? Mr. Goudelock recites for us. We had to go to our first two morning classes before any activity began. The teachers had a talent contest. Mr. Goudelock read The Night Before Christmas. Mr.Scott, Nr. Pinnick, and Mr. Hauge sang some old time favorites from their high school days. Other teachers also played music, sang, and displayed other various talents. The cheer- leaders sold ham and cheese sandwiches. Me exchanged our gifts then everyone went to a movie of their choice. We were then able to go home- Look what we got!! 21
