The Annual Staff is responsible each year for putting together, arranging for the financing, and the selling of the yearbook. The Yearbook is really a portrayal of the activities of the school year in picture. Everyone has to work very hard in order to put out a successful yearbook. The staff, headed by Ann Gonzales, deserve a great deal of credit toward this endeavor, and the thanks for their entire student body. In addition, the sponsors are to be thanked for their generous support. Without them there would be no yearbook. Take your hands off my body! ! Don't work to hard! Let me have some! ! Since a successful slave auction last summer, our chapter has enjoyed many varied and interesting activities. Some of the highlights of the past year included a summer pack trip which was then made into an annual activity. Our FFA Livestock Judging team took first place at the Midland Empire Judging Contest at which there were 54 teams present. At the state Convention in Bozeman, our Farm Mechanics team ranked in the Gold Division, and our Chapter ranked 5th in the overall sweep- stakes. Our chapter also sent 2 delegates to the National Convention held in Kansas City. FFA has much to offer for those who show a willingness to work. German Club Bridger High School German Club has been very active this last year with Homecoming floats, Christmas carolling, buying Tea-Shirts, talent shows, and parents night. Coach’s Comment Starting Offense 1969 Football team at B. H. S. completed suc- cessful winning with a seasons record of 4 (wins) 3(losses) 1 (tie). One of the real highlights of the year was playing games on B. H. S. new football field, which was much of an improve- ment over the previous field, and one of the best facilities in the conference. It was a pleasure to work with some outstanding dedicated young men in the first year as head coach. I appreciate the services of my very capable assistant Mr. Scott. He contributed very much to our successful season. OFFENSE: Back Row: B. Bratsky; S. Ochs; Second Row: R. Reid; Front Row: L. Peterson; J. Jackson; D. Kelsey; D. Yates; L. Peterson. Losing to No. 4 ranked Busby by six points and the State Class C Champions Park City by nine, the Scouts , in their own mind, have a very good consolation prize. I felt that the team as a whole progressed satisfac- torily through the season. The weather was far from being ideal for track as 2 meets were cancelled due to poor weather. The track team lost 4 boys through graduation. There will be a good group returning and I believe this group will be a title contender next year. I wish each one of the young men I worked with in track this season, and those I work- ed with in Athletics the past 5 years a tremendous amount of good fortune.
