Joe Bratsky was chosen as our first boy cheerleader. Reamy The Bridger High Band consists of sixty musicians. During the school year the band participated in EMC Homecoming on Oct. 14, 1967, MSU Band Day on Oct. 28, RMC Band Day on Nov. 4; an exchange concert with Lodge Grass on Dec. 6; winter concert, Dec. 10, all-school Christmas Program, Dec. 18; St. Patricks Day Concert, March 17; Tri-County Festival, Red Lodge, April 2nd; District Festival, April 20th; and Spring Concert, May 12th. During basketball season the sixty members formed two pep bands which alternated in playing at all the home games. A hand picked pep band of forty went to the District Basketball Tournament. 28 Sponsored by HANSEN MUSIC Band Board Linda Sylling, Jim Meek, John Webber, Ken Stahley Drum Majorette This year the band eliminated its majorettes and replaced them with one drum major- ette, Darlene Bent. They check books in and out, help repair them, and generally help in every way they can. The National Honor Society is composed of a small percentage of juniors and seniors, who maintain at least a ”B average and in addition have shown out- standing qualities of character, leadership, and service. In 1967-68, the NHS started the BHS News, and are sponsoring a dance to get the money to send one junior to the leadership camp in Denver, Colorado next August. The NHS also serves refreshments at parent conferences and ushers at various school events. The two wins were with Joliet and Fromberg. The team was comprised mostly of inexperienced players with only two returning starters from last year. Ochs We are very proud of the Scouts this year as they finished third in district play, and had a conference record of 11 wins and 3 losses. Going into the district tournament the Scouts were minus one of their main five players, but managed to come up and take third place.
